If you're starting a new EPiServer 7 project designed to share credentials with another system, beware that the default algorithm has been changed.

AmbiguousMatchException when updating from PTB 1.3.0.0 to PTB 2.0

When updating from PTB 1.3.0.0 to PTB 2.0.0.0 I got this error: "System.Reflection.AmbiguousMatchException: Ambiguous match found."

Retreive the LoaderExceptions property for more information.

While upgrading from CMS 5 to CMS 6 R2 I got this runtime error: "Unable to load one or more of the requested types. Retreive the LoaderExceptions property for more information."

EPiServerFriendlyUrlRewriteProvider rewrites urls that belong to a different site

I have two EPiServer sites linking back and forth to each other. In the test environment the two sites are only available on IP addresses. No DNS is created for the two.

Site A: [127.0.0.1]:[port X]
Site B: [127.0.0.1]:[port Y]

if site A renders a link to site B on a none friendly way (templates/page.aspx?id=120), it will be rewritten by EPiServer Friendly Url Rewriter if the two sites have the same page id in there database. The result will be a link point to a page on site A instead.

Mirroring in EPiServer CMS 5 R2 (5.2.375.236)

If the editor decide to delete a page om the source site, after an initial mirroring has been preformed on this page, the next mirroring will fail.

Ved oppgradering av Epinova.WebParts.Providers 1 til version 2 har noen opplevd at webdeler forsvinner fra visningen. Dette gjaldt webdeler som var lagret i aspnet tabellen. Dette var fordi ReformatPath metoden i provideren ikke lenger støttet template name i path for webdelen. Dette er nå reintrodusert i versjon 2.2.1.1678.
