Any of the following is required:

• Microsoft Windows Server 2003 32-bit
• Microsoft Windows Server 2003 64-bit

Web server

• Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS) 6.0 must be installed as part of the Windows 2003 Server installation.

Database

Any of the following is required:

• Microsoft SQL Server 2000
• Microsoft SQL Server 2005 32-bit
• Microsoft SQL Server 2005 64-bit

Other requirements

Any of the following is required:

• Microsoft .NET Framework 3.0

Operating system

Any of the following is required:

• Microsoft Windows XP
• Microsoft Windows Vista
• Mac OSX 

Browser for editing

Any of the following is required:

• Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0
• Microsoft Internet Explorer 7.0
• Firefox 2 (limited support)

Microsoft Office 2003/2007 (32 bit only) in Windows XP or Vista is required to publish from Microsoft Office to EPiServer CMS 5.

Browser for viewing

All major browsers are supported, including:

• Microsoft Internet Explorer
• Mozilla Firefox
• Netscape

NOTE Browsers supported for viewing are entirely dependent on the construction of the EPiServer CMS 5 templates.
