This topic lists Optimizely updates, delivered as NuGet packages and services. You decide which updates apply to your project.

Select a product, package, or service in the left menu, and then select one of the following filters from Item type and click Filter.

  • Bug. Display bug fixes.
  • Critical bug. Display only critical bug fixes.
  • Feature. Display only new features (all features).
  • UI Feature. Display only end-user (user interface) features.

Note: NuGet packages listed here may not be immediately available in the Optimizely NuGet feed.

  Add Multi-channel content tree

A Multi-channel Content gadget was added to let you view and work with folders, blocks, and images; pages are not usable in this gadget. You can remove the Navigation view to make Multi-Channel Content the primary gadget, and restore Navigation view by selecting Settings (gear icon) > Add gadgets.   Support .net 6 TinyMCE

Added support for .NET 6 to Optimizely TinyMce package of Optimizely Content Cloud (CMS).

There are no changes to the .NET 5 support, and the packages include assemblies built for both .NET 5 and .NET 6.

  Should not use image name as alt-text

When you inserted an image onto a page, the alt attribute was automatically filled with Image Description. This was changed to blank with a notification for more meaningful alt-text.

  Images added with drag and drop to XhtmlString properties added to start page's content folder

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Open any page with the Content Area property.
  2. Create a new `Editorial Content` block.
  3. Click `Quick edit` on the newly created block.
  4. Drag and drop an image from your local disk to the XHTML property.
  5. Navigate to the block and check it's in the `For This Block` folder.

Expected result:

Images are created in the `For This Block` folder.

Actual result:

Images are created in the `For this page` folder.

  Issue related to Alt tag in TinyMCE

When you add an image to the TinyMCE by using the image tool, the description is by default left empty, and thus the "alt" attribute is missing in the HTML.

If you drag and drop the same image in the editor, then the correct value for the "alt" attribute is displayed in the HTML.

  Error script when adding data on tinyMCE

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Create and publish a configurable view that allows editors to create Editional blocks (that is, blocks having TinyMCE). 
  2. Open the view on CM.
  3. Add new > Enter required field. 
  4. Enter data to Mainbody (TinyMCE property)
  5. Click Save.

Steps to reproduce in CMS:

  1. In Edit Mode, create a block of type Editorial
  2. Add the new created block to the Large content area of the Start page
  3. Use Quick Edit to edit the editorial block
  4. Add some text then click Save

Actual result:
