Edit System Types
I don't think it's possible to add more properties to the system page types and I would suggest that you create your own root/start page and add all the properties you need to the new root.

Since now we are always using custom properties into the Root page - SysRoot (not Home), so with this upgrade we have to change the root logic of our application?

This is added in EPiServer 7.5, I don't think it's a common feature that properties are added to the Root/Welcome page.
Especially since it can't be changed through a Content Type Class.
Maybe the EPiServer team has a good answer to why this is disabled in 7.5.

On this topic I would really like to add properties to the ContentFolder type but I don't know how to. Any advice would be of use.

Hello,
Currently in our newly installed project, based on version 7.5.1000.0 we are unable to add/edit any settings of the System Types.
We want to add properties of the Root Page (which I believe is called "Welcome Page in Edit Mode" it this version of EPiServer), but all of the functionality is disabled.
I can't find any configuration to enable editing.
The user I am using is Administrator.
Any suggestions will be highly appreciated.
