LinkItemCollection as properties in page types

Hi.

I'm trying to have editors drag-and-drop pages into my page type. My property is defined like this:

public virtual LinkItemCollection Themes { get; set; }

When EPiServer tries to autosave the page, I get an errormessage saying «Offline, cant' save».

Doesn't LinkItemCollection work in EPiServer CMS 7.5? Am I doing something wrong?

It seems like this property doesn't work without creating a website first. Creating a website fixed the problem.

I'm having this issue when updating from epi 6 to 7.5. What did you have to do to make this work? We have sites in the solution already...
