"View as this visitor group", not changing menu

How do the feature "view as this visitor group" work. It only seems to change my blocks and not my menu which is defined in my _layoutCommoon.cshtml.

Is there any-way to fix this?

There is no code, its an episerver feature. "View as this visitor group". It does not render the page correctly
