Add additional Access Level types for Content Types

Vote:

Hi All,

Is it possible to add additional Access Level types in 'Edit a block type' settings view? Currently users can tick/untick the Create box but would like to be able to make access level changes for 'Change' and 'Delete'. Is is possible to extend this?

Access screenshot here: https://ibb.co/i3a9iG

Thanks

Hi,

Not per content type. But you can of course use the regular access rights in the content tree. I blogged about a solution a while ago that might do the trick though http://dodavinkeln.se/post/prevent-editors-from-deleting-system-content. You could extend this with other types of actions, e.g. 'Change'.

Hi,

You can do something like this as well to add restrictions to contenttypes and specific properties on properties: https://gist.github.com/MattisOlsson/28fb542f9eca939931090a528555b34e

Maybe not the answer but you might be able to achieve the same goal but with diffrent solution perhaps.
