Did you upgrade to use Identity instead of Membership provider for logging in?
Do you have your editor users in Episerver db or using SSO?
If you upgraded to use windows identity you might want to try to create a new admin and login with that one.
No. I am still on Membership provider and trying to login with admin account.
Hey Syed,
As far as upgrades go I usually like to incrementally upgrade from 7.5 -> 8 -> 9 -> 10 etc.
It is more time consuming but I find it easier to do it in steps, and at each step check what has broken in the site, fix it continue onward.
That being said I have had issues in the past with upgrades pertaining to the modules folder where episerver puts its .zip files.
For me publish was breaking due to some JS error because an expanded JS file was not removed from my local machine and our other environments we deployed to.
This was supposed to be removed but for whatever reason it wasnt being removed. Once removed my CMS publish issue cleared up. Your issue is different from mine though, i just know upgrades are tedious and super detail oriented. This also happened on our deployment environments.
Hope this helps,
Sean
Hello,
I have upgraded the episerver CMS from 7.5 to 11.19 and commerce to 13.26. The front end portal loads just fine, I can navigate different menus and it seems to be working fine. But when I try to login to CMS it results in an error. Below is the episerver log.
can someone help with the missing setting/config here?
