Search: Exclude products/variations under sub categories when an outline for the parent category is added

I am using Lucene for Commerce 7.5. 

I added an outline for the Catalog Node that has sub nodes in it. The search would give me the products even under the sub categories. 

I would like to exclude those products from being returned and only return the products that are related the parent category directly, not by the mean of sub category. Is that possiblle?
