I am using Deployment Center that comes with EPiServer 7 and I am trying to install EPiServer.Search on a site in a development environment. Installation on Windows 8 hangs and service is not installed, no folder is created in EPiServer/Shared/Services etc - the only thing that worked eventually was to see Search in administrator mode. Is this a known bug - or can this be somehow fixed?
Installing the service on the site in a Windows 7 virtual machine worked like a charm.
