Pages created in non master language is not modifiable in other languages.

We got the strange issue.Description follows...

First a page(having a global property) is created in non master language then it is not editable in other language. On doing this,it throws an error saying

"Cannot save common property PriceListXML on non-master language en on page 8034_77665 "

Here the property "PriceListXML" is a global property.Seems that this is related to store the global property in non master language.

Help is solicited.

Steps to Reproduce:

1.Create a page which is having global property in non master  language.

2.Save and publish it.

3.Edit the page in other language/Master language having dynamic content.

4.Error is observed.

5.Please find the attached the screen shot attached.

What is making me confused here is that you say that you create a page on a non-master language, basically the first language used to create a page is always the master language for that page. You should not be able to edit the global properties at all on the second language, and that is why you are getting the error message.

Could it be that PriceListXML is a custom property that does not disable itself when on a non-master language ?

I have the same problem! It started when we upgraded a R1-site to R2 SP1. When we trying to save a page on a non master language that have global properties we get this error.

Is there any solution to this???
