Problem uploading cvs import files

I have a problem uploading new files for import using the cvs import feature. When i click the "Upload file"-button (after having selected a file of course) I get a message to wait while the file is being upload and after a while the message disappears but the file is not uploaded. No error message is displayed. This works well on my development environment but not on the future production environment. Anyone knows what might cause this?
