EPiServer & Ajax (httpmodules/httphandlers in web.config)

Since I've been working with WebParts I get errors in my browser like "ASP.NET Ajax client-side framework failed to load" and "'Sys' is undefined"...

When I google for a solution, I find a lot of answers saying I need to enable Ajax in my web.config file by adding httphandlers and httpmodules. But as soon as I do so, I get an "internal server error" about these httphandlers or httpmodules, like I am not allowed to add those?

Could anyone explain this to me/help me to solve this problem?

Thanks in advance

Hi Veerle,

Which version of IIS are you running your website on?

Can you browse ScriptResource.axd, or do you get a 404?

Have you checked out this article: http://labs.episerver.com/en/Blogs/Ted-Nyberg/Dates/112276/12/EPiServer-CMS-5-R2-gives-Sys-is-undefined-on-IIS7/?
