Episerver - update 289

New release of Episerver Personalization (Recommendations: Dynamic price-ranges for non-GBP sites, Triggers: Campaign - Add/remove user from group should use bmThirdPartyId parameter for hashed users, Mail: PVH - Master CSV Export Qs, Reports: PP - additional KPIs in Products Report - UI).

The update applies to Episerver projects version 7.5 and higher, and contains finalized work items included in the latest iteration of services and related client-side NuGet packages. Continuous release updates are cumulative to include previous updates. Episerver supports all platform updates and strongly recommends that you keep ongoing projects up-to-date. You can install the update packages from the Episerver NuGet feed.

Note: A product release may contain multiple NuGet packages with inter-dependencies. This release information lists updated main package versions. When a release is built, other dependent packages may also be bumped to new versions, although they contain no publicly visible changes. This is done to avoid dependency errors. When you upgrade, NuGet alerts you to upgrade related packages to the required versions. For Commerce, it is important to ensure that you are running the same version of CMS and Commerce, both in the front-end and back-end applications.

Episerver Personalization

  • Release 2019.42

    New features:
    • Recommendations: Dynamic price-ranges for non-GBP sites
Price ranges are now dynamic for all sites. The product prices in the catalog feed are split dynamically into three similarly-sized ranges: cheap, average, and expensive. Previously, this only worked for sites using the GBP currency.
You can use the price range expression in Product recommendations and Email recommendations.
Personalization Portal > Recommendations > Campaigns > Recommendation rules
    • Triggers: Campaign - Add/remove user from group should use bmThirdPartyId parameter for hashed users.
Episerver Campaign customers who supply pseudonymised IDs can add users to and remove users from target groups. Previously, this functionality was only available for customers who supplied email addresses.

    • Mail: PVH - Master CSV Export Qs
To avoid confusion, if a Personalization Portal user exports Mail campaigns to a CSV file, only relevant parameters are shown in the generated HTML. That is, the triggerfireID parameter is only added if trigger strategies are used, and the refcode parameter is only added if the strategy "Recommendations based on specific product refCodes" is used in the campaign.
