The Biggest EPiServer Partners Worldwide 2012

Who are the biggest EPiServer partners worldwide in 2012? A new year means an updated partner list at episerver.com, so lets crunch the numbers and find out!

Note: Since I am not an EPiServer employee I don’t get access to the juicy details about number of sites developed, licenses sold etc. So all I have to go on is the EPiServer partner lists and the number of certified developers in each company. Not perfect, but should give us a quick idea of the size of each company’s EPiServer department.

Making Waves increases from 31 to 43 certified developers and takes the top position from KnowIT (was 37, now 36). The third place is still held by Sogeti.

EPiServers position in the USA has also been strengthened by the entry of First Line Software with a healthy 21 ECDs, making the total for the U.S. 30. First Line Software also serves the Russian market and is now the fourth largest partner in the world.

*Based solely on the number of certified developers listed on EPiServer’s website as of 19.01.2012.

I would be fascinated to know how many people First Line Software has in the U.S., since they're claiming that as their "country of partnership." How exactly do they qualify as a U.S. partner?

Thank you Magnus :-)

Stats are great Alexander, but has things really changed that much after you wrote the same post in August 2011, other than Making Waves moving from 2nd to 1st in the "top partners worldwide" list ? ;-)

Also, a lot of companies have departments in other countries (e.g Making Waves in Poland). Would the top partners list per country look different if the list took into consideration where the devs are actually located?

I think that is a significant change :-)

I don't know the details about the other partners, but currently Making Waves has a total of 45 ECDs, with 25 working in our Oslo office, and 20 in our Krakow office. They all work with Norwegian clients, with one exception: FIFA.

@Deane - First Line Software has their entire EPiServer department in Russia, and the partners list confirms this (First Line USA = 0 ECDs, First Line Russia = 21 ECDs). As far as I can see, US partners have only 13 ECDs combined, which means that USA and Russia should swap places in Alexander's list :-)

@Alexander - Creuna Sweden seems to have 13 ECDs, but Creuna Norway seems to have 11. Unsure if there is a mixup in the distribution between departments, or if this means they have 24 total.
The same goes for Logica Sweden (13) and Logica Norway (6)..
