What OMVP events do we have?
The OMVP program hosts many different events throughout the year. Some events are hosted by the OMVPs, others are hosted by Optimizely. We have both in-person and virtual events where we are always looking for enthusiastic speakers to share on different topics. Examples of technical topics may include CMP, Headless CMS, Optimizely Graph, AI, .NET, Feature Experimentation, Web Experimentation, and Commerce.
Participation in these events is highly recommended for OMVPs and are frequently open to the public for networking and educational purposes. OMVP specific events are an exciting way to continue education as a technical professional and grow as an OMVP.
We have a wide range of events happening all year round such as developer meetups, roadshows, summit, and internal team connect.
Local Meetups will be held in select major cities. These meetups will be hosted/driven by OMVPs and are open to the public. Their purpose is to create an opportunity for local developers to get together in person and learn about Optimizely products on a deep technical level. Optimizely funds the event and helps the OMVP host with logistics.
The Roadshows are driven by Optimizely. They are an opportunity to give the community and the public an update of our products/portfolio, sneak peek of near future updates and a chance to connect.
A portion of the Roadshow is reserved exclusively for OMVPs to discuss confidential Optimizely information.
The OMVP Summit is a 3-day OMVP exclusive retreat and is held the same week as Opticon. It includes intimate deep-dive sessions and workshops on topics related to Optimizely and of course loads of fun activities.
Optimizely Connects are working sessions with Optimizely product and engineering teams to provide feedback and discuss product features, roadmaps, bugs, enhancements, etc.
Occasional special celebrations for events such as anniversary or special launches.
We are always accepting nominations for future MVPs. If you have someone in mind, yourself included, fill out a form to get considered!
