Optimizely shortcuts between two domains

Hi,

We have Optimizely CMS 11 set up with 2 languages, and a domain for each language,e .g. test-site.se  and  test-site.co.uk.

One of the pages should only exist in english, and for the swedish site we want to just link to the page defined in english. So, naturally we go to

  1. Settings --> manage Shortcuts 
  2. and we set the link to another website
  3. and enter in the full english url. 
  4. Publish
  5. The link has now been changes to a relative internal link, and it does not work. 

The error just says too many redirects, and has not linked to the english site.

Is there a clever solution for this? 
We can't be the only one with this problem.

Were you able to resolve your issue?

There may be custom routing code causing the redirects error.

Assuming you have a multi-site setup (one for each language), do you need to specify English as the replacement language for the Sweden page? And use "Fetch content from another page" shortcut option instead of redirecting
