MAP Pricing

Vote:

We are determining how to handle minimum advertised price (MAP) on the Insite platform. Is anyone else thinking about how to deal with this? Our suppliers are beginning to talk about it and a few have created a MAP price level.

If your price is managed in the ERP, do you have a base or list price you can pull from? this should be MAP

We make a real time call to the ERP. We do generate a price for both logged in and non logged in shoppers.

The MAP's we've dealt with are only applicable to the publically available pricing. Therefore we ensure our Price Level 2 (Good Price) which is the Guest Account pricing is > or = to the MAP. Otherwise we update the Price Level to match the MAP for the item within our ERP.

Not sure that helps at all but we essentially check the publically available price against the MAP requirements whenever the pricing is updated in ERP.

How are you currently managing pricing for Insite? Are you calling through to an ERP or are you using the OOTB Pricing functionality in Insite?
