Detecting the container of a block

Hello  I want to be able to display different view for a block, dependent on the container.

 

Example:

I have a simple FAQ block consisting of a question and an Answer.

 

1) The FAQ block is a part of a FAQ block list and is rendered as a link

2) The FAQ block is part of a content area and is Rendered as a banner.

 

Is this possible?

Hi Oliver,

If you take a look at AlloyTech website, you can see how this is soved using 'tags' on ContentAreas.
