For CMO, there is additional config depending on your setup. For example: http://dmytroduk.com/techblog/episerver-cmo-in-load-balancing-environment-with-separate-editing-server and http://dmytroduk.com/techblog/episerver-cmo-in-load-balancing-environment-simple-scenario
As far as the new live monitor (non-Silverlight) and load balancing, our documentation for it doesn't include references to load balanced environments - http://world.episerver.com/add-ons/live-monitor/configuring-live-monitor-add-on/ but the instructions under "Interval Based Updates (load balanced environments)" may still apply - http://world.episerver.com/documentation/Items/Developers-Guide/EPiServer-CMS/75/Configuration/Configuring-Live-Monitor/
So, I need to use the development center to install the statistics handler and aggregation service.
We actually have this scenario: http://dmytroduk.com/techblog/episerver-cmo-in-load-balancing-environment-with-separate-editing-server
Thanks for the reply.
It would be nice if anyone knew about the live monitor though, before we went live with it. But I guess it's only in edit mode, so it doesn't matter that much.
I'm glad that the CMO portion was helpful for you. Unfortunately, I don't have knowledge of load balancing for Live Monitor for the new version. My assumption is that load balancing may work the same way like the old version since the new Live Monitor is primarily a UI overhaul - http://world.episerver.com/articles/Items/New-add-ons-available-in-the-Add-on-Store-beta-feed/.
Did you get the New LiveMonitor version to work in load balanced environmnent with a separate edit machine to work??
Livemonitor is working on the editing machine but there is no sign of the visitors on the load balanced machines?
Is there som new documentation, I haven't find one?
That's a shame, it's a nice tool and it should work out of the box! Our silverlight version worked but then after the upgrade, we just can't get it to work!
I have installed both CMO and Live Monitor, but do they need any additional configuration for load balanced environments?
I found out maybe Live Monitor did, but that documentation seemed like it was for the old silverlight version of Live Monitor.
