Getting Absolute URLS in TINYMCE

Iam trying to getting absolute urls from the epilink module when iam rendering the xhtmlstring.

ive tried manipulating the settings for tinymce and it seems like that the epilink module dosent listen to the document_baseurl or relative_urls

Any suggestions?

iam currently scraping the page to send it with a mailservice, and i want "external/absoluteUri" when the tinymce/epi renders the xhtmlstring property
