Hi

We are currentl working upon a client site and we are trying to remove the default 'en' or English(American) from the root page.

Has anybody tried this before?

Master Language

Thanks

Paul

Hi, Paul,

Doesn't seem like it would be easily achievable. What is the business case, what do you want to achieve?

Hi Marija

The client would not like the 'e'n to appear as they will not be using this lanaguage branch, they would just like it removed.

I have the database setup and am currently looking at all the references for the 'fkLangugaeBranchID' and swtiching manually to see if that will resolve it.

I am doing this on a clean database to make it a little easier.

Thanks

Paul

Do you want to switch to another language? Or is it that you don't want the language visible in URL or what?

In Episerver Admin -> Config -> System settings there is an option that says "Enable globalization". If you untick that and save, you shouldn't see language anywhere. Not sure how it works in the DB though, but that shouldn't matter?
