Having trouble with custom search working locally on my desktop. I am taking over on a project so didn't develop the code initially. Trying to set up the project on my desktop with Visual Studio, I copied down the production database via backup device and hooked everything up.    It's EpiServer version 7.19.2.0.

The site is running just fine. However any screen that uses Custom Fields in a Search is coming up empty in the search.
I see the content in the CMS.  The issue is on the live site, news entered this year is not coming up in search.

I'm guessing that the custom indexing isn't executing?

1) Testing the Indexing Service. I've updated the web.config.
http://mysitelocal/indexingservice/indexingservice.svc

Comes up with the Service page and index not found as expected.

2) I see CustomSearchInit.cs in modules which adds a CustomizeIndexing function to IndexingService.DocumentAdding

- Is there any way to look and see the Custom Fields and Values for Indexing in the live content?

- How can I reindex all of the content in my local db? I tried using this: http://yoursite/EPiServer/CMS/Admin/IndexContent.aspx
And it seems to execute but I cannot verify if it worked or not. It just displays the last date it ran.
