Our environment has currenty upscaled our servers to more than what we are entitled for, in our cloud license. Our site was randomly down during this upscaling period. We have seen our Episerver logs and noticed that our licensing crossed the limit, and it has been continuously logged that Episerver Cloud license Validator failed to validate .
As a post mortem of the scenario, we would like to know, if this License validator process has got the ability to shutdown our website, as we would like to know the exact reason for the site to be down, and be prepared for our next big time. Also, if this is the reason, we would like to review our license accordingly.
