Use of ImageProcessor.Web.Episerver package for image optimization

We are planning to use "ImageProcessor.Web.Episerver" package to optimize images for our application. Since this is not a Episerver verified/certified package we wanted to ensure if its safe to use from a security perspective. Could anyone who has used this package please comment on this?

Hi Anish

I have come across it in many different Episerver projects through the years. I believe it is regarded as safe to use.

If your site is running behind Cloudflare (like many sites nowadays) consider using their image processing features instead. They will do all the image processing on their edge servers and store the results on their edge caches.

Hi Stefan,
Great! Thanks for your help on this. Yes, we are using Cloudflare CDN and we will look into that to see if it helps optimizing images.
