Ensure correct language version using shortcut feature

Vote:

In a multi-site setup we are trying to use the built-in shortcut feature to provide an external link from one page in Site A (swedish) to another page in Site B.

In Site B the page that we want to provide an external link to exists in both Danish and English. We want the english version.

When we define the shortcut from page in Site A using the full url we do it like this:

However, episerver stores the internal url and because the page exists in both English and Danish, and Danish is master language, we are always redirected to the danish version.

How can we ensure that the actual full url is used?

you need to create a placeholder page let's say redirect page - This page can take a URL and apply some rules before redirecting. As per my knowledge you can not do this using the shortcut feature.

That was also what we had in mind in case no one knew if it could be done using the shortcut feature. So, I guess we will have to go with that.
Thanks.
