Easier way to remove duplicate media items with the (2) in the end?
You could create a small admin plugin / tool or even just a controller with some code that runs.
If you're in DXP use Search & Navigation (Find) to search for files with (2) in them and then just show a list of checkboxes and review them if you need. Then use the IContentRepository API to delete the items as standard.

Hello all,
I'm trying to find an easier solution to remove duplicate media items from episerver with the (2) in the end of the media items. We did 2 imports which caused the photos / media to be duplicated.
Am I stuck removing each media item manually? I have attached a screenshot for reference.
Any and all suggestions are welcome, thank you!
