DXP DirectDeploy of Commerce 13 failing with Failed to clear content error


Had an issue where two directdeploy attempts failed in DXP PaaS-portal. The message shown:

The running command stopped because the preference variable "ErrorActionPreference" or common parameter is set to Stop:
Exception calling "EndInvoke" with "1" argument(s): "Failed to clear content on *******inte/Production.
Retry attempts left: 0.
The error was: Failed to cleanup the *******inte/Production files!" 

Didn't change anything in code or Azure portal but a third deploy attempt a couple of hours later worked.

Anyone else experienced this?
