Multilanguage default tab in edit mode

When using english and swedish as languages english is always selected as default when creating a new page. This bothers my clients since their primary language is swedish. I've fiddled around with EPnDefaultEditPanelTab but that only affects the page when it's already been created. Is there a solution to this?

Hello! I don't think this is possible today so I added this as a suggestion: Issue #34110 - The users language tab should be preselected when creating a new multi language page.
