Viewing documents in Documents folder

Hi I'm having problems viewing a document after i've uploaded it to the Documents folder. If i create a link on my page to point to this document i get a 404 (page not found) error. The url it generates is along the lines of : http://mysite.com/Documents/TheDocument.doc As i understand the unified file system, EpiServer should be serving this file instead of IIS, but this doesn't seem to be happening. The "Everyone" user has read access to this Documents area so this is not the cause of the problem. Any ideas? Thanks Tak

Check if it works with a small text-file. Say 1kB. If it does and you're running on Windows 2003 + SP1 there's a hotfix that's needed for Unified FileSystem. http://www.episerver.com/templates/page.aspx?id=3802

Ah, that's the problem, it works fine for the small file. Yes, i am running windows 2003 + SP1. I'll contact Microsoft to get the hotfix. Many thanks Tak
