I am new to EPiServer.  I am working with EPiServer 6.  So far in all the documentation and samples I have worked through I am not seeign anyway to inherit propeties when creating a page type.  Does each page type need to have properties set manually? 

I would like to have a "base" template that would have commonly used properties such as "MetaDescription", "MetaKeyword" and othe properties.  When I create a new page type I would like to inherit those rather recreate all the properties on the new page type. 

If there is documentation for this please provide a link.
