Automatic start for workflow not working

Hi,

I am trying to use the automatic start on workflow but can not get it to kick off.  It only works if the starting event is set to page checked in.  Trying to use it for page/file delete or move does not do anything.  Has anyone else had issues with this or found a resolution?
