One database - two sites -> Edit and Live - is this normal practice?

Our client has a requirement that the edit environment is in the DMZ, and so i have set up the live site on the public server, the edit/staging on the DMZ server and the blobs on a file share - HOWEVER - the live site is not updating - even though both sites share the same database. If i touch the web.config then it catches up - can anyone tell me what i am doing wrong?

Both instances have exactly the same code, before you ask :)

Thanks in advance,

Marshall

Hi,

You need to configure remote events so the cache invalidation works. Please see http://world.episerver.com/documentation/developer-guides/CMS/event-management/
