Group rights don't apply and crashes the browser

A customer has a group with rights to administer and delete a certain page with subpages.
When a user in the group tries to delete a page he has created himself the browser ( Internet Explorer 6.0 Service Pack 2, Swedish) stops working entirely.
A bug?

Hello!
I think we need some more information about the problem. Does IE hang completely or can you use the back button or enter another url? Are there children pages to the page that the user tries to delete? Is the page deleted when opening another browser?

- Yes it hangs completely.
- No, it has no children pages.
- No, it is not deleted afterwards. The administrator has to delete it.
We now gave the user the rights to delete it himself instead of through a group. It didn't help - until we noticed that he had no rights to Recycle Bin!!
With rights to Recycle Bin he can now delete pages (so the page can be moved there).
