Delay on Cache invalidation

Hi. We've recently set up two web servers with NLB. We are sometimes experiencing some delay on the update on the cache invalidation between these two servers. Is there any explanation or logical reason for why this should happen? We are using v4.51.2.145, Enterprise Edition on Windows 2003 w/SP1 and MS HotFix 894611. Frank :)
