URL to page/external Address is prefixed with Current page url

In .Net 2.0 and EPiserver 4.61, we have created a page type with property of type URL to page/external address. This value is used in .... If the property is given value www.yahoo.com, the HTML comes up fine, but when you click on it, it takes you to the error page. The error displayed is "Incorrect link". The link has changed to /www.yahoo.com . How do we make the browser not add the prefix. - Tushar

I think if you specify the "http://" prefix the link will work OK.
