SearchDataSource and EnableVisibleInMenu

I have a hard time trying listi pages which have "visible in menu" property unchecked. When SearchDataSource property EnableVisibleInMenu is set to false, it doesn't reflect the behaviour at all.

I am running Episerver 5 SP1. Did anyone else experience similar problem / is this a known bug?

I have searched the forum but didn't find workaround for this.
