We have an intranet that uses VirtualPathNativeProvider to let the editors/and users access documents on a network share. When dragging and dropping a document into a link, or adding a link to it the old fashioned way, it all works fine. But if the editor tries to edit the page afterwards and tries to use Link Properties (for example to change the link text), she says EPiServer "forgets" the address so she has to browse for it and add it again.
