Publish a page ahead of the subscription-mail being sent

I have a customer that uses the subscription functionality when they publish news. Sometimes they want to publish the news-page ahead the subscription mail being sent. Then they experience that the page is included in the subscription-mail too early. I read in the Editors manual that you have to do this in 3 steps:

  1. Block the page for subscription
  2. De-select the “block subscription for this page” option when you want the page to get included in the subscription-mail
  3. Mark the page as changed

Their problem is that they forget to de-select the “block subscription for this page” and the page is not included. Is there another way to do this?
