Did anyone use Oauth for authentication in CMS 12 non-headless?

Yes, it's quite common to use OpenId which is built on top of OAuth for things like connecting to Azure AD https://docs.developers.optimizely.com/content-management-system/docs/integrate-azure-ad-using-openid-connect for non headless
