Optimizely Content Manager plugin

I just installed the Optimizely Content Manager plugin and registered in the startup.cs but when I try to search, it doesn't show any data.

Am I missing something in the configuration of this plugin?

Doesn't look like it's been worked on for 3 years https://github.com/episerver/episerver-labs-content-manager-docs and the issues aren't being responded to so not sure it's still active and working

Hi Scott, yes the docs appears out of date and there are open issues and I will bring that to the team. The content manager is published under our Labs initiative which has reduced support from us. We are considering how to handle our published labs moving forward, what should be folded into the product and what shouldnt. One example is Block Enhancements where we decided to build out the inline block support within the core product instead. When it comes to Content Manager then nothing has been decided and we did bring this labs to CMS 12 so it should be compatible today.

It's stil included in Foundation, and it's working for me on a new site I set up recently with the latest packages.

Don't think there's any specific configuration being done. Pretty sure the only additional step is I've got some views configured via blocks, per this section of the docs: https://github.com/episerver/episerver-labs-content-manager-docs?tab=readme-ov-file#configuring-views-using-blocks

Try that, maybe there's an issue with the default view?

For .NET core? I couldn't see any packages compatible when I checked

Yup -- https://api.nuget.optimizely.com/packages/episerver.labs.contentmanager/1.1.0
.NET 5 + 6 version, compatible with EPiServer.CMS.UI.Core (>= 12.13.1)

Ah, I think the github repo which is just docs is just out of date as it's a year behind the publish of the .NET core version since it was updated.

I had the same issue, might be caused by a mismatch between your user language settings and available site languages.

Check you user settings, by default it gets language from browser/machine.
