Anyone else having problem with that unified search returns large amount of data?

We have notised that the part where we use unified search returns a very large amount of data.

For example if we search and get a resultset with 20 objects in it the size of the jsonresult are 51325 characters long with Content-Length: 51318 according to fiddler.

This seems to be a lot of data for just 20 items in the result, and this takes a while to transport from Find to the servers the will show the result. That meens that the search result page takes quite some time to load.

Are there any way to minimize the amount of data that are returned?

At the moment the entire type hierarchy of your content objects is passed in the result. I've registered an isseue where we'll try and see if it can be optimized some way.
