Dynamic content not searchabe

Hi,

I have a problem with searching dynamic content.

If i try to search for information that only exists in a dynamic content object I doesn't get any hits.  Is it possible to work around this problem?

Regards
Marcus Schwartz

Not really.

Dynamic Content is meant to host, well, dynamic content. You can't really index something that can change for every visitor.

Personalised content is of course hard to index, but given that the dynamic content isn't personalised you will solve the problem by using a crawling search engine. Unfortunatelly the built in episerver search engine doesn't crawl the actual rendered html for each page and will therefore not find what you're looking for (or any other referenced content on the page). I would recommend having a look at a third party search provider.

 That's what I thought.
