Are you trying to access edit or admin mode?
Special settings are required for an individual/group to have access rights to Edit mode. You specify which groups are to have access to the different modes in EPiServer in the file web.config. The group Administrators and WebAdmins have access rights to Admin mode by default. Administrators, WebAdmins and WebEditors have access rights to Edit mode. All groups normally have access to View mode. If you do not want to use the default groups available in EPiServer CMS for accessing Edit and Admin modes, you can amend this in the web.config file found in the root of your website.
we tried login to edit/admin with the user, we added the groups to the episerver access rights adn we still didn't succesed.

We use WindowsMembershipProvider and WindowsRolesProviders and we can only login to th site if the user is in the administrators group, we keep getting
