Hi,

I'm developing a site that should have a public area as well as a non-public area available only after logging in. The user accounts for the non-public area are available in active directory. I'd like some advice on how to set this scenario up when it comes to choosing security providers etc. E.g. I'm not sure if it is the ActiveDirectoryMembershipProvider that I need to configure to fulfill the requirement of the logged in section of the site? Any advice is appreciated.

Thanks,

Bump. (By the way, I forgot to add a subject to this thread. Is there no way to update your postings here once you have sent them?)

Hi Anders

Take a look at these two articles: http://blog.bergdaniel.se/post/Using-the-active-directory-membership-provider-with-EPiServer.aspx and http://world.episerver.com/Documentation/Items/Tech-Notes/EPiServer-CMS-6/EPiServer-CMS-60/Configuration---Active-Directory-Membership-Provider/.
