CSS / Javascript problem with AlloyTech

Vote:

Hi everyone,

I recently installed the AlloyTech demo website and it doesn't display correctly. See http://i.imgur.com/UCk5F.png

It seems that all files located under the /Templates folder are unavailable. If I go to "http://<server>/Templates/AlloyTech/Styles/Default/Styles.css", I get a blank page. A fiddler trace indicates that the server responds with 200 OK but the Content-Length is zero.

Is the demo supposed to work out of the box ? Do I have to modify a configuration file for the demo to display correctly ?

Thanks in advance

Hi Guillaume,

The AlloyTech templates should enable you to have a fully functional site without having to do anything. Something has gone very wrong during the installation. Try to install it again.

Hi Guillaume,

Late answer to an old post, but you'll need to install/activate the IIS feature "static content" via the Windows Features installer. Without that one activated you'll get a blank css or javascript file. You'll find it under  Internet Information Services -> World Wide Web Services -> Common Http Features -> Static content.
