More functionality when posting to EPiServer Community blogs

When posting blog entries in EPiServer Community you can only type in title and text.

Is it possible to get a rich editor like EPiServer's blog. (Live writer)

I want at least possibility to attach files and add related links.
Are there some plans for the future to implement more features for the blog editor in EPiServer community?

I have not tried to implement attaching files but when it comes to editors  it seems like FCKEditor is one of the most used and it is fairly easy to implement.

Erik Nordin has written a blog post on it: http://antecknat.se/blog/2008/07/18/implementing-the-fckeditor/

I have almost fully implemented the LiveWriter API for the blog module in EPiServer Community. I'll post the source code and a blog post about it when I'm done and have the time.

I'd be happy to share the code that I have with you now though. If you want it, drop me a line at joel.abrahamsson@nansen.se

Does EPiServer have any plans to extend the blog post functionality?

Is there anywhere I can see EPiServer's future plans for the Community?

Register at http://reisetips.visitnorway.com/ and check out their implementation of TinyMCE in the blog module of Relate+. In addition to rich text they have used the image gallery in order to upload pictures and diplay them in a neat light box (inside the blog) http://reisetips.visitnorway.com/no/Reisetips/Mine-Reisetips/?userId=443&entryId=1331

It took me a while, but I just posted a blog post about Windows Live Writer integration for EPiServer Community.

I'm not a developer, but I'm particularly interested in whether Episerver have any plans to extend the Community functionality to use rich text editors across the site.  This was originally raised in this forum - but it doesn't seem to have been aswered.  Any ideas?

btw, it's pretty easy to add tinyMCE editor to all required fields - blog entries, forum posts, etc. If you need sample - just ping me.
