we suddenly have an issue that none of us has ever experienced earlier, and that's intermittently getting a login prompt when clicking on an weblink to an uploaded office file (xls)!?
I can see the following in the IIS'log: 2015-04-01 11:20:46 xxx.xx.xxx.xx OPTIONS /Global/ - 80 - yyy.yy.yyy.yy Microsoft+Office+Protocol+Discovery 401 2 5 0 2015-04-01 11:20:46 xxx.xx.xxx.xx OPTIONS /Global/ - 80 domain\user yyy.yy.yyy.yy Microsoft+Office+Protocol+Discovery 401 2 5 15
We're running CMS6R2 on a Win2008R2 intranet environment, with Windows Authentication.
Downloading the file first always works, it's clicking on it from the browser that's the issue, and when it starts doing the OPTIONS verb and Microsoft+Office+Protocol+Discovery cs(User-Agent).
Even if you ignore the login prompt (and click cancel) the excel file will open!
Hi,

Anyone noticed this? Any help appreciated.
