Hi Barry,
Page Type Builder is not used in EPiServer anymore, but EPiServer has implemented their own solutions for strongly typed pages that works more or less in the same way. Have a look here: http://world.episerver.com/documentation/Items/Developers-Guide/Episerver-CMS/9/Content/Page-types-and-templates/
Hi, Barry,
If you are used to PTB, then David's three blogpost contain a very good comparison:
BR,
Marija
Yup. Episerver has very nice support for strongly typed page types out of the box now. Also the new block concept for building a more component based solution like the old composer module. Enjoy! :)
Apoligies if this is a naive question, but I last used Episerver 6.
Is using the "Page Type Builder" open source component still a good idea when on EpiServer 9?
I know what "Page Tpe Builder" is for, I just want to know is it still an option for Episerver 9, where there maybe other better options?
I'm not porting a site. It is a clean sheet project.
Thanks in advance.
Barry
