A/B Testing with Shortcut Types

Hello,

our customer wants to use the A/B Testing feature. He noticed one issue with it. We are delivering our article-pages as shortcuts "Fetch content from another content item". We have a custom ComponentDefinitionBase "Article Management" in CMS where they are created, published and mainained. But in the frontend they are delivered via "Article Overview Pages" where you can specify the categories which are used to filter the articles. The article shown in frontend is then created in memory as a "copy" with PageShortcutLink to the original article. This has the advantage that we can show the same article on different "blogs", so also with different URL's, but can still be maintained at one place.

If you now want to use A/B Testing on (article-)page level(Test created in original article), it will not be counted as a view if the user visits the shortcut-article.

The only workaround i see is to create a block which contains all page-content and then create a test there.

Are shortcut-type-pages not supported with A/B Tests?
